About
Module Purpose The Assistant Head Teacher role is a leadership position that supports the Head Teacher in the effective operation of the school. Before beginning training on the individual responsibilities of the position, the AHT must first understand what the role is, what it is responsible for, how it operates within the school, and what level of ownership is expected. This module establishes that foundation. The purpose is not simply to review the job description. It is to help the AHT understand what the responsibilities mean in practice and how they are expected to approach them as a member of the school leadership team.
